Is Reliable Protection Services a licensed and registered security company?
Yes, we are a fully licensed and registered security firm. We are registered with the Registrar General's Department, the Ministry of Interior, and the Mineral Commission of Ghana (Reference MC 3324). Our operations strictly comply with the Private Security Organization Regulations (LI 1662) and the Police Service Act of 1970, and we hold a valid Private Security License issued by the Ghana Police Service.

We have extensive experience serving a wide range of public and private institutions. Our client portfolio includes banking institutions, mining companies, hospitals and medical centers, construction firms, churches, educational facilities, government institutions like the Regional Lands Commission, warehouses, factories, hotels, and residential estates across multiple regions in Ghana.
What qualifications and training do your security guards have?
Our personnel are young, energetic, and highly trained professionals who are certified, licensed, insured, and bonded. They undergo rigorous screening and comprehensive training in general security, crime combat and prevention, offense detection, industrial security, jungle security, and human relations. We strictly adhere to the security training standards set by the Government of Ghana.
What equipment do you provide to your security officers?
To ensure maximum protection, our officers are equipped with approved security uniforms and modern safety gear. This includes metal detectors, shockers, pepper sprays, handcuffs, body armor, security boots, walkie-talkies, and body cameras. Additionally, our supervisors are equipped with registered pump-action firearms for effective security management and site supervisors are provided with patrol vehicles to ensure site boundary patrols are maintained.
How do you ensure your guards remain alert and vigilant on duty?
We implement robust operational efficiency measures to maintain high vigilance. This includes regular and random supervisory visits, shift patrol monitoring every 15 minutes, vehicle patrols, and real-time radio communications. We also have a strict rotation policy to prevent over-familiarization and conduct regular management visits to ensure our services meet your expectations.
What is your management structure and who oversees security operations?
Our operations are overseen by a highly experienced team of professionals and veterans. Our Board of Directors is chaired by Major Kwadwo Konadu Enoch (GAF). The management team includes a Managing Director with over 19 years of experience in investigations and security, an Accountant, and a Security Operations Officer. Our Security Advisory team also includes retired military officers and former police commanders who provide strategic guidance.
Do you offer security services for mining sites and forest areas?
Absolutely. We specialize in "Jungle Security" for mining sites and forest areas. Our personnel are trained to handle the unique challenges of remote and rugged terrains. We provide on-site security patrol vehicles and deploy experienced officers to deter intruders, prevent criminal activities, and ensure the safety of assets in these high-risk environments.
What is the process for requesting security services?
To start, we require a completed Services Request Form detailing your name, address, the location where services are required, and the number of guards you need. We will then conduct a thorough on-site survey of your premises to assess the specific security risks. Based on our findings, we will recommend a tailored security solution and provide a transparent price quotation.
Where are you located?
Our headquarters is located in Sunyani, Bono Region, Ghana, at the Regional VAG Premises, inside Rooms 1&2 of the Ghana Legion, behind the Municipal Assembly. We also have operational branches across the country, including Ahafo, Bono East, Ashanti, Upper East, Eastern, Central, Savannah, and Western Regions.
